Veritas Academy uses a university model designed to supplement the homeschooled student. Three tracks–scholar, classical and co-op–are available to help meet the needs of each family.
Annual Registration Fee
An annual Registration Fee of $225 per family is due upon application. This fee, minus a $25 administration fee, is fully refundable if your child is not admitted to Veritas Academy.
Veritas Academy is a classical Christian school, using a university model designed to supplement the teachings of a homeschooled student. Accordingly, classes may be selected by each family as desired. Students may enroll as noted below:

Semester classes meeting two hours per week will be counted as one hour toward a student’s total hours for the year.
Full-time students will receive preference for class placement through July 23rd.
Part-time students will be guaranteed class seats after July 23rd, provided seats are available.
Please note: Registration fee must be paid to guarantee class placement.
Christ & the Classics and Classical Recitations
Attendance for these assembly periods is required for students wishing to stay at school during the lunch hour (11:30 – 12:30). This includes juniors and seniors signing out for the lunch period. The fee for these classes is $100 per student, per year.
Christ & the Classics is taught at two different academic levels: Grades 7-8 and Grades 9-12.
Classical Recitations is offered for Grades 5 & 6.
Part-time Student (1 – 3 classes): The annual Registration Fee covers the cost of three study hall periods per week; for example 5th Period on Mon., Wed., & Fri. Part-time students with more than three study hall periods per week will be assessed a fee of $75 per extra study hall period, per year.
Full-time Student (4 or more classes): The annual Registration Fee covers the cost of six study hall periods per week; for example 3rd and 5th Periods on Mon., Wed., & Fri. Full-time students with more than six study hall periods per week will be assessed a fee of $75 per extra study hall period, per year.
An annual administration fee of $50 per student will cover the cost of miscellaneous fees such as lab fees, copy fees, book rental fees, transcript fees, etc.
A $300 (per student) tuition deposit is required by August 14th. This deposit will be capped at $600 per family and will be deducted from the family tuition invoice for the first billing period.
Invoices are sent in September and January and are due in full upon receipt. For families who prefer convenient monthly installments, payments may be made through FACTS Tuition Management Program. Information is available in the school office.
Tuition credit (for the first semester) will be made only for students who withdraw from classes during the first two weeks of the billing period. This credit will be issued for the tuition amount less a $50 withdrawal fee. Unfortunately, NO REFUNDS will be issued after the first two weeks. Billing periods will begin the first day of each semester.
