Olivia Simons is a violinist from Columbus, Ohio. She has had experience playing in the American Youth Symphony in addition to playing three years in both the Ohio All-State orchestra and OMEA East Central Regional Orchestra. She was one of several winners of The Master’s University Concerto Competition, and placed second in the Antelope Valley Symphony Concerto Competition. Olivia has attended several summer music festivals such as Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, Indiana Summer String Academy, Mountaintop Mastercourse for Violin with David Russell, and Meadowmount School of Music. She was also accepted to study at The Aspen Music Festival and School in summer 2020. Olivia graduated from The Master’s University studying under Michael Ferril with a Bachelors of Music in Violin Performance. She is active as a member of the New Albany Symphony, a private violin teacher, and a freelance musician in Columbus.
