Mrs. Crane graduated from West Virginia State University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Computer Science and worked for American Express for ten years before coming home to homeschool her two children who have since graduated. During that time she served in many homeschool co-ops instructing speech and public speaking, organizing science experiments, and tutoring the abecedarian level at Classical Conversations. She is a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ and desires to lead students to fall in love with Him. When she applied to teach at Veritas Academy she said, “I want to do things that matters for eternity.” She has been serving in children’s ministry and volunteering for various ministries for 24 years. Currently, she is a high school girls group leader at Grace Powell Church where she equips young ladies to know Christ and develop a personal relationship with Him. She and her husband Norm have been married for 27 years and she enjoys working alongside him in his real estate appraisal business. The expanded family loves to vacation together, hike, bike, walk, and study the Bible together weekly in her home.
