Born and raised in Michigan, Melissa attended Grove City College in Pennsylvania and graduated with a BS in Finance, Summa Cum Laude. She later attended Grand Valley State University in Michigan where she received an MS in Accountancy and became a licensed CPA. She worked in numerous roles in public accounting and corporate finance for 15 years including Ernst & Young in Chicago and Abercrombie & Fitch in New Albany. Melissa left her work in 2021 to focus on her family full-time. Melissa has been married to Evan for 13 years, and the two have 3 children: Graham, Madeline & Elodie. Graham and Madeline currently both attend Veritas. Melissa & Evan are members of New Albany Presbyterian Church.
