Mary Cole graduated summa cum laude from Ball State University with degrees in both Special Education and Elementary Education. Before staying home as a mom, Mary taught middle school Special Education in a public school in the Indianapolis area.  She then began her homeschooling journey over 15 years ago in Indianapolis.   A work move for her husband brought her family to the Cleveland, Ohio area where she first discovered Classical Conversations. Mary spent 6 years tutoring both Foundations and Essentials in Classical Conversations before another work move brought her family to the Columbus area and began her family’s journey with Veritas in 2019.

Mary is thankful for her husband, Adrian and her 5 children, 4 of whom have attended Veritas Academy with the oldest graduating 2 years ago. Mary is excited to lead students in the development of their skills and enjoyment of writing.
